We'd love to hear from you! Get in touch with us in a few ways:

Note: during the event weekend the best way to contact us is probably to find an organizer in person.

Code of Conduct

Fog City Stomp is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable event experience for everyone, so we're requiring all attendees, instructors, staff, and volunteers to comply with our code of conduct.

Crew Members

Want to work with us as a Fog City Stomp crew member? Fill out our Crew Member Interest Survey here.

Are you in San Francisco and interested in hosting one of our instructors and musicians? Fill out our Host Interest survey. We will contact you about hosting if your space matches instructor or musician needs. We are especially in need of private rooms in San Francisco—ideally near the venues—but we appreciate all offers to host.

For general attendees, we've set up a Facebook group for locals and travelers to connect about housing. Join here.

I’d like to come but can’t afford a pass! What can I do?
We have a couple of ways for you to attend if you have financial need. You can apply to be a crew member (see above) or apply for our scholarship program (check out details on the registration page). As of Oct 1, the entry period for our 2018 scholarship program has closed.

Do you offer any scholarships?
We do! See our registration page for more details on how to apply. We use a lottery system to give discounts to Bay Area dancers who have never attended a Lindy Hop or Solo Jazz weekend workshop, dancers who identify with an underrepresented group in the Lindy Hop community, and dancers with financial need. As of Oct 1, the entry period for our 2018 scholarship program has closed.

I can't come anymore. Can I have a refund? Or transfer my pass?
Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, since we've already hired bunches of awesome people to teach and play music, we can't offer refunds. However, you may transfer your pass to a friend. Email with both your full name and your friend's full name.

If you have a personal emergency and are unable to sell your pass, email us at before November 8. We will not be able to accommodate requests made after the event begins!

I want to compete! What kind of pass do I need?
Competitors will need a full weekend or dance pass.

Do I really need to register AND complete the Level Check Questionnaire?
Yes! Registering buys you a ticket to the weekend and reserves your spot in Lindy/Solo. The Questionnaire helps us sort you into groups of similar peers for level checks. Please fill it out :)

I no longer want to compete! What do I do?
Just like passes, we can't offer refunds, but you may transfer your pass to a friend. Email with your request, including both your full name and your friend's full name.

What if I enter the wrong competition?
Let us know within a week if you entered the wrong competition, and we can help change your registration.

If you are an Amateur Social competitor that recently placed in the top 3 in any Lindy Hop competition in that role, we can move you to the Open Social. Fog City Stomp organizers may also move a competitor from the Amateur Social to the Open Social if they are not eligible or if that level competition is not appropriate. In both cases, we will contact the competitor to let them know in advance.

Fog City Stomp is run by an array of dancers passionate about throwing a great Lindy Hop party in San Francisco: Alex Fernandez, Jessica King, Amira Selim, Iris Dolowitz Tarou, Kirk Tarou, and event directors Suzanne Van Arsdale & Nirav Sanghani.
